Jonas Reuter, born into an artist family in the serene region of Thuringia, Germany, discovered his deep love for music at an impressively young age. Turning 4, he already knew – "this is a big part of me." Between his 6th and his 11th year of life, he was taught classical piano by Karin Blechschmidt (a student of Elly Ney's master student). During this time, he additionally received lessons from renowned figures at the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar, such as Professor Volkmar Lehmann (a student of Juliane Lerche).

Inspired by these rather traditional approaches, Jonas began to seek access to freer paths of expression and underwent fundamental percussion education with Vladimir Sigarev in Coburg. Despite his openness towards many musical genres, his consistently growing love, for particularly progressive metal, quickly became decisive. In this context, at the age of 11, he began to focus on his current main instrument, the guitar. Today, he places great emphasis on maximum versatility and feels home when playing everything between four and seven strings, whether acoustic or electric.

His concert career began at the age of 7, at 16 he played his first solo gigs,and since the age of 18 he has been a full-time session and studio musician in the fields of folk, jazz, rock, and metal. Despite his close connection to the Netherlands, he enjoys working internationally and English can easily be considered his second native language.

His own project "Talewanderer" is about to get launched soon and meant to do nothing less ambitious than re-shaping the dark music scene.
